Back in Germany after 309 days in the UK.

17. Juli 2013. 142 Posts später. Vor 11 Monaten ging es für mich nach England. 309 Tage habe ich dort als Kellnerin, im Büro, als Housekeeper und AuPair gearbeitet und gelebt. War es den Aufwand, das Geld und den Stress wert? Auf jeden Fall! 
Ich habe in 309 Tagen so viele Erfahrungen gesammelt, soviel gesehen und erlebt, neue Menschen kennen gelernt und neue Dinge gelernt, wie manche Menschen in vielleicht 5 Jahren.
Die Familie und ganz besonders die Kids und die Hunde sind mir unglaublich ans Herz gewachsen, der Abschied fiel mir sehr schwer. Viel Zeit war dafür jedoch eh nicht, da mein Gastdad mal wieder spät dran war und dann auch noch eine Straße gesperrt war. Somit blieb nicht viel Zeit für Tränen. Doch nicht nur die Familie auch die anderen AuPairs, die Engländer und das Land selbst sind mir ans Herz gewachsen. Für mich steht fest, sobald das Geld und die Zeit da ist geht es für mich wieder nach England. Bis dahin habe ich meine tausenden an Fotos, Videos und Erinnerungen. Jetzt heißt es erstmal sich wieder in das 'alte' Leben einzufinden und auspacken ist dafür der erste Schritt. Die Pakete sind nach 2 Tagen zum Glück schon angekommen. 
 Ich hoffe es hat euch genauso gefallen wie mir, vielleicht schreibe ich bald wieder. Cheers!

17 July 2013. 142 posts later. 11 months ago I started my journey to England. 309 days I worked and lived there as a waitress, in an office, as AuPair & Housekeeper. Was all this effort, time and money worth it? Definitely. I would do it again - anytime!
In 309 days a made so many memories, experiences, saw new things, met new people and learned new things as some people would in many 5 years
The family and especially the kids and the dog(s) have become very special to me. Saying goodbye was very hard for me. Luckily there was not much time for tears since my host dad was late as always and a road to the airport was closed. 
I know that as soon as I have the money and time I will definitely come back here. Until then I have my thousands of photos, videos and memories. Now it's time to get back into my 'old' life. Unpacking is the first step to this. Luckily it took my parcels only two days to arrive in Germany. 
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Maybe I will write again one day. Cheers!
