Telephone Interview

Before I forget to mention it, my contact person from the agency was a really nice one. This particular person also called me the next day after handing over my application and told me they already have an interested hotel and sent me information about the hotel and some tips for the interview. The hotel decided on a date for the interview and I called the hotel at the agreed time. 

I was quite nervous, but it was great and - to my surprise - I was told they'd give me the placement. 

It was after the interview that I got to know that the agency wouldn't search for another placement for me, because I already 'have' one. So the only option for me was to agree to that placement. But well - I was lucky. 

Afterwards I received a placement confirmation which I also had to sign. Anyway it was just a confirmation, no contract. This one will be taken out when I'm there. That makes me a bit anxious. 

Nevertheless I had/have a placement. ;)

Bevor ich es vergesse zu erwähnen, meine Kontaktperson von der Agentur war sehr nett. Diese spezielle Person hat mich auch einen Tag nach Einreichen meiner Bewerbung angerufen und mir mitgeteilt, dass sie schon ein Hotel gefunden haben, das interessiert wäre. Ich bekam noch Informationen über das Hotel und Tipps für das Telefon Interview zugeschickt. Das Hotel schlug ein Datum vor und zur ausgemachten Uhrzeit rief ich dort an. 

Ich war ziemlich aufgeregt, aber es lief gut und - zu meiner Verwunderung - sicherten sie mir die Stelle gleich zu. Es war nach diesem Interview, dass die Agentur mir mitteilte, dass sie, da ich ja jetzt eine Stelle hatte, sie mir kein weiteres Angebot suchen würden. Ich hatte also gar keine andere Wahl als Ja zu sagen. Jedoch hatte ich wie gesagt Glück.

Danach erhielt ich noch eine Bestätigung, die ich unterschrieb. Es handelte sich hierbei jedoch wie gesagt um eine Bestätigung und noch um keinen Vertrag. Dieser wird erst in England gemacht. Was mich etwas beunruhigt. 

Jedenfalls hatte/habe ich eine Stelle. ;)
